To achieve the control and surveillance objectives that avid domain and power experts who want to impose on the entire global population, they have become experts in the art of manipulation and deception. And for this, they have been using subtle tools that are practically imperceptible to most people.

One of these tools is Social Engineering. This is a technique of psychological manipulation that exploits trust, urgency and human bias for the victim to carry out a dangerous action or to act in a certain manner in accordance with the calculated plans pre-established by third parties.

Applied at the societal level, social engineering uses propaganda (tendentious and redundant), targeting technology (a set of tools and technological systems that allow identifying, segmenting and directing advertising and other species messages to audiences) and absolute control of the fallacious narrative. Its success depends on the population not recognizing the mechanism that applies to it and the main objective sought is to condition long-term perceptions, values and behaviours.

How does it work?

Consent Engineering: Public opinion is manipulated to voluntarily "constant" policies that it did not actually choose critically. At this stage the "pretext" is created: a media narrative, an event, a crisis or an algorithm that decides what you see, what you listening to, what to believe.

• Computer propaganda: The use of bots, fake accounts, troll armies and algorithms is used to amplify narratives and create the illusion of consensus ("everyone knows it," "everyone accepts it," "everyone uses it") and make the dissident feel isolated if he does not submit to the agreement of the majority.
• Systemic insulation: The population is isolated from external and truthful sources of information through censorship and media control. The fake "social test" is artificially amplified by repeating news, viral trends, hashtags, bots that simulate the majority.
• Emotional manipulation at scale: It appeals to fear, danger, urgency or indignation as fuel for the population to act without deliberating or reasoning (e.g.: campaigns linking an external threat to a specific policy). The "emergency" is manufactured with the information agenda: what the media repeat becomes "the real, the indisputable and urgent"
• Creating problems and solutions: Problems and crises of any kind are invented, which then introduce and amplify. These events will be perceived by the masses as serious threats. Later they will be "returned" and the "savemen" will be credited with restoring the Statu quo and returning stability - lost to society through ingenious technological solutions (bureaucratic permits, identification and authentication systems, etc.). The typical methodology of: Generate the problem--- Establish the crisis--- Offering the solution. Conclusion... Achieving the initial and premeditated target planned.

And so using Manipulation and using disinformation in the service of particular interests, it intervenes with skillful means and distorts reality to influence or control in a subgent, indirect and misleading way the thoughts, emotions, decisions and/or actions of another person or group, in search of a profit of its own and at the expense of the other. The manipulation exploits the vulnerabilities of the recipient without the process being aware.

In this way, and in a state of constant and extreme vulnerability, societies fall victim to the devices of manipulators, who deceive and lead them to assimilate misconceptions and false beliefs so that they perceive a distorted reality.

Today and despite having countless alternative means where it is possible to obtain true and reliable information, societies choose to remain gullible by accepting without question everything that under euphemisms of "advances, improvements and innovations" is offered as "safety, progress and modernity."

To focus on a topic of strict topicality, we must refer to the dystopian world of the "SMART." And for this, it is necessary to stop pretending that the "smart" that accompanies all these "advances" represents something that is not "a sophisticated monitoring and control apparatus": a true and real track of every aspect of personal and private life.

The innovations the world is getting used to are definitely not technological advances designed for their benefit. On the contrary, it is the refinement of a system on a global scale that is generating the emergence of a new order of totalitarianism with solid bases on strict control and surveillance policies that will be applied to each of the beings that inhabit the planet.

The real innovation lies in the sophisticated way these techno-tyranns use to extract information. How can they fully monitor, how precisely they can segment, how perfectly they can monetize the collected data; all this without being warned to awaken consciousness and alerts that could provoke a reaction, an uprising and rejection by the victims.

One question that should be asked is why do they call these devices and devices smart? To answer it, we must refer once again to the "art of manipulation" of these skilled experts. They take concepts, modify them, alter and redefine the meanings by replacing them with hyperbolic neologisms that are then popularly accepted as valid despite the absurdity and ridicule that these modern and renewed notions bring with them.

An example, of these hyperbolic neologisms, can be observed precisely by assigning the SMART prefix to countless products and devices by attributing to them qualities that exceed their reality.

Because... what do you have as smart? Absolutely nothing. They are only electronic devices connected to the internet or other networks (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, 5G, etc.) that can operate interactively and autonomously with integrated detection, processing and connectivity capabilities that allow them to collect data and then process information locally or through the cloud to run PRE-SCHEDULED ACTIONS. Oh, yes. PRE-SCHEDULED Actions.

All SMART devices are components only designed for tracking and surveillance and are foundational of the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem and absolutely essential for their operation. And with each of them you buy, you're paying the unparalleled "Privilegation" to be catalogued, monitored, tracked, watched and controlled.

And let's be absolutely clear about who benefits from these "wonderful innovations" here. It's not you at all.

Below are classified according to their type, some examples of these true nightmares called SMARTs that are already available in this dystopian world of the Internet of Things.

Progress and its advances would offer well-being to societies if they were founded on good intentions and sought to improve people's living standards. But the problem arises when these innovations available today are used for totalitarian and dictatorial purposes aimed at eliminating individual freedoms and rights.

Consequently it is possible to perceive that like a coin that has two sides, these technological advances also have two facets. And so it is essentially necessary and extremely indispensable to detect promoted euphemisms and observe the verifiable facts before immersing themselves in this world of " SMART progress."
